Freeway 55 is a major north/south limited access route within the world of Kodiak. Currently, it is only complete through Kodiak's most populous metropolitan area, Ivy Stone-Stronghold-Sandy Bridge. Freeway 55 caused the truncation of Route 302 just south of Ivy Stone City. The existing limited-access portion of Route 3 from Stronghold City to Trinity was suitable route for Freeway 55; thus creating a Freeway 55 and Route 3 duplex. You will also notice the new Ivy Stone Skyway, a cable-stayed bridge over the eastern portions of Ivy Stone Bay.
