Freeway 440 serves as a "land route" through Kodiak's most populous metro area, Ivy Stone-Stronghold-Sandy Bridge. The northern half of Route 202 was truncated in the process of planning Freeway 440. Between Stronghold City and Ivy Stone City, Freeway 440 is the most heavily traveled roadway in the entire world of Kodiak. In case you were wondering, the remaining sections of Route 202 have all been demolished.
